Rather than just abandoning your razor and hoping for the best, start by arming yourself with a pair of clippers, a comb and a jar of Uppercut Deluxe Mo Wax. If your moustache seems a little thin and wispy at first, don’t be discouraged; it may just need some time to grow out. Once it’s long enough, give your mo a trim. Located just around the corner from the Rolling Stone offices, the Newtown Social Club hosted an all-night set from Aussie band Boy and Bear to kick off the event, with guests also treated to local acts and a theatrical performance by Jack Colwell.
It was an anything goes kind of night, with apple bobbing, custom cocktails and tunes provided by DJ Jones Jr to keep the dance floor pumping. The turnout was huge, with people queueing.up at the door for their chance to check out the bands and have their hair styled by Tommy J and Phil. It wasn’t long before the venue was packed
